after a long bout of laziness/superbusyness i am back, since my last post i have had two exhibitions. One is on at the moment at Seventh Gallery on Gertrude Street until the end of September. It is a collaboration between me and my studio mate Fiona Waters... The show is called Small Goods and is very much about sausages and salamis and other domestic items. Here are some pictures of things we made, photos of the actual exhibition to come.

Today i found a book in an opshop called "Molly and the Slow Tooth" which i love, i think this molly character even looks a bit like me, also got this very nicely illustrated mathematics text book and a heater for the new studio, i was so chilly i couldnt draw. A new drawing of some beach umbrella looking shapes, testing out some colours...

I got a dog, her name is Chippy!
She is 10 months old, shes a chihuahua cross a bit of everything i reckon, she was from the pound and she loves to snuggle and nuzzle, she dosn't like toys very much, she's very quiet and sometimes afraid of tall people and cars but is happy to nap on your lap. Shes keeping me very distracted....

i really want a dog, maybe that would cure my lazyness and general listlessness these last few weeks, i have been stalking along on so many dog websites, like lost dogs home and rescue a dog and things like that but when i finally found the dog i wanted, it was gone by the time i could get to the lost dogs home, and then it turned out the little doggy had been adopted by my neighbour and is living across the road. it looked like this drawing above, a jack russel cross terrier with a bit of red heeler, so she was all speckled and cute with floppy black ears.
