Autumn cherry tomatoes, these are all from our garden. Brooke and I made an incredible tomato pasta with these. It was intense and rich and tasty and totally yum.

boys

It's getting to Autumn here, which is nice, we are trying to work out ways to hang up all the clothes. There are so many. I have so many things to do too, hanging really isn't the priority but I am preoccupied.

Fiona and I watched The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, got fake tattoos and ate canolis.

Yesterday Fiona came over, we had a lovely fruit and cheese platter. Autumn plums and swiss cheese so then I drew some girls who are wearing bright cakey dresses and a picture that looks a little phallic but has a worm and some slugs in it.

I embroidered this on a piece of linen, the thread is from a family friends mother who was a sewer among other things. It's very old hand dyed silk embroidery thread which I treat very preciously... the colours are so jewel like. My housemates are out, its a warm afternoon. I'm making lentil bolognese and listening to Panel Of Judges. They are playing with The Clean next week, I will see The Clean at Golden Plains. I hope the weather is this nice!

Today I rode my bike around West Footscray all the way to Tottenham, in and around the factories and houses in between. There is a really strange antique shop across the road from Tottenham station if your in the area. It's really good for antiques and things but it also sells motor scooters and mannequins. All along the train line between West Footscray station and Tottenham are some really great factories and industrial buildings, the Uncle Toby's silo is there too, one of my favourites.

Davis rides his bike in Footscray and wears that big yellow helmet. I love it, it makes him look like a lego man. LE-VO is my favourite sign in Footscray. It is a table tennis shop.
I got very frustrated yesterday when cleaning and made a solution: put all clothing i don't wear 'often' but cannot give to op-shop in the iron chest that is Davis's bedside table. And there you have it, a trunk full of nice things I do not wear. There are no problems, only solutions. hmmmm.
I live in Footscray. It's Fresh and Cheap.

A few good cans i've seen around. The butter in a can was really yummy, I bought it at K.F.L groceries in Footscray. The Lychees au Syrop are from the Little Saigon foodworks, and so is the Sakura Pickled Cabbage which I havn't eaten yet, it has a good label though.
I went to see True Grit tonight, it was okay- apart from the wishy washy soundtrack. 6 out of 10 I think.
Hailee Steinfeild did a greatjob! considering she is only 15, and was quite nicely styled.
 Peterpan collar!
Oh and Jeff Bridges plays a one eye cowboy. Also good, though, i'll always prefer him as:

Nice jumper!

Did you know that Peggy Lee's real name is Norma, and she sang in the Lady and the Tramp Disney movie.
My friends Renee and Fiona got me this ring for my birthday, it's a hug ring by Natalia M.P
I have a few cacti around the house, this one Davis gave me for christmas lives in our room beneath the window. Some little horses live on it too, I thought it would be a save spot for them because they are very delicate and cactus spikes may be prickly to you and me but they are quite a good cushiony support for the little horses.

K. Meakin gave me these horses for my birthday one year. She has also given me this vase:

It's German.
In our bedroom, there is a map of the world. We sleep beneath South America.
